Weโ€™re looking for a passionate and driven Renovation Sales Representative to join our team at the Toronto Display Centre. Reporting to the Display Centre Manager, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-facing sales environment and enjoys working with homeowners to find the perfect window and door solutions for their renovation projects. From initial inquiry to final sale, youโ€™ll guide customers through every step of the process offering expert advice, preparing quotes, and closing deals. Responsibilities
  • Promote the features and benefits of Pollard products and services.
  • Support customers throughout their purchasing experience
  • Follow up and maintain customer relations
  • Prepare quotations and sales contracts.
  • Prospect and qualify new sales opportunity, travel to customer homes
  • Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
  • Work with the Display Centre Manager and internal support to achieve sales quotas
  • Support accounts receivable department to facilitate timely account collection
  • Educate self on competition, market trends; participate in training, meetings as required as well as possible tradeshows
  • This role requires some office presence and out on the road for customer meetings to secure sales
  • Also required to be available on a rotational schedule for evening and Saturday shifts to meet with and respond to customer needs
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the construction/renovation or windows and doors industry (an asset);
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Resilient with a proven track record in sales; excellent customer relation skills
  • An updated driverโ€™s abstract will be required as will a personal vehicle to attend customer meetings
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel
  • Sound knowledge of the Ontario Building Code is not required but is an asset
