The role of the Display Centre Manager includes but is not limited to the following. Represent Pollard Windows products and services while working with new and existing builder, renovation accounts, and property management accounts. The role requires strong management skills, prospecting skills, all aspects of client interaction with sites and communication with head office. In your role you will motivate and guide your staff to attain your sales forecasts and profitability guidelines. In addition you will work to ensure the proper levels of installer support required for the showroom at all times. You will also be required to work with our Accounting Department on occasion with collection issues and clarifications. You will establish and maintain complete customer records and continue to demonstrate increases in annual revenues.
Specific Management Tasks Include, but are not limited to,
- Monitor Rep forecasts vs actual sales and provide feedback/instruction accordingly to meet goals.
- Hire and manage the Display Centre sales team, customer service and installation crews
- Prepare and maintain the showroom schedule to ensure proper staffing at all times
- Distribute leads to appropriate reps and follow up to gauge closing ratios.
- Consult with reps on product options and installation questions – provide technical support
- Work with Installers to distribute measure checks, and follow up to ensure timeliness
- Review Returned measure checks
- Oversee Installation Schedule
- Train staff on SOP’s
- Consult on all installation issues and resolve
- Follow up with Customers on any quality issues with product or install
- Review Completion Certificates
- Ensure Working at Heights Compliance
- Prepare weekly ATB
- Ensure orders for new, reno and service are entered promptly and correctly
- Process credits and RGA’s
- Resolve all conflicts
- Communicate with Production on required delivery dates
- Work with Canadian Sales Manager to ensure sales targets are met.
