Spray Painter
Description
We are looking for a spray painter to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and test spray painting equipment prior to use to ensure all equipment is in working order
- Re-prep products for paint to bond if required
- Apply three coats of paint (non toxic / water based) to all products; a steady hand is required, as the painter must paint while walking around the product
- Transfer painted product to the baking booth for 20 minutes
- Perform Hatch Test to determine quality
- Fill out Quality Control Form for each painted product
- Implement Ultrasonic Testing to determine thickness of the paint
- Perform routine maintenance cleaning of spray guns and other materials as required throughout the day
- Once material is dry deliver to Paint Prep workers
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous manufacturing and production experience is an asset
- Minimum 6 months experience in industrial painting or coating application
- Any industrial painting certificate is an asset
