The role of the Display Centre Manager includes but is not limited to the following. Represent Pollard Windows products and services while working with new and existing builder, renovation accounts, and property management accounts. The role requires strong management skills, prospecting skills, all aspects of client interaction with sites and communication with head office. In your role you will motivate and guide your staff to attain your sales forecasts and profitability guidelines. In addition you will work to ensure the proper levels of installer support required for the showroom at all times. You will also be required to work with our Accounting Department on occasion with collection issues and clarifications. You will establish and maintain complete customer records and continue to demonstrate increases in annual revenues.

Specific Management Tasks Include, but are not limited to,

  • Monitor Rep forecasts vs actual sales and provide feedback/instruction accordingly to meet goals.
  • Hire and manage the Display Centre sales team, customer service and installation crews
  • Prepare and maintain the showroom schedule to ensure proper staffing at all times
  • Distribute leads to appropriate reps and follow up to gauge closing ratios.
  • Consult with reps on product options and installation questions – provide technical support
  • Work with Installers to distribute measure checks, and follow up to ensure timeliness
  • Review Returned measure checks
  • Oversee Installation Schedule
  • Train staff on SOP’s
  • Consult on all installation issues and resolve
  • Follow up with Customers on any quality issues with product or install
  • Review Completion Certificates
  • Ensure Working at Heights Compliance
  • Prepare weekly ATB
  • Ensure orders for new, reno and service are entered promptly and correctly
  • Process credits and RGA’s
  • Resolve all conflicts
  • Communicate with Production on required delivery dates
  • Work with Canadian Sales Manager to ensure sales targets are met.

Job Purpose

A liaison between Outside Sales Representative and Production, the CSR is an Inside Sales Support to Outside Sales Reps; ensuring customer’s needs are met regarding orders. This includes answering inquiries on orders, pricing, product, and problem resolution.


Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides in-house support for sales team when a customer requires information or assistance
• Maintains quality customer relations using strong interpersonal communication skills
• Answers customer’s phone calls promptly, efficiently, and with courtesy
• Ensure all customer requests are dealt with in a prompt and friendly manner, following up with them at key points (ex. Reply to them before the day-end, and let them know you are currently working on a solution – providing them with realistic timelines)
• Address customer concerns and enquiries with respect to product and delivery; ensure the customer is receiving the product they have requested and on time (Enter their requests promptly, ask for assistance if a “rush order” is required), perusing the confirmation
• Inform the Outside Sales Representative if you have provided a service to the customer that they should be aware of – this is to maintain communication between the CSR and Outside Sales Rep to ensure consistent service
• Notify the Scheduling Department of any changes or updates to customer delivery schedules
• Rectify customer complaints in a quick manner; keeping customer satisfied with overall service
• Report any customer dissatisfaction/trends to Customer Service Manager for further review
• Maintain business files including binder information, addresses, customer name, builder profiles, etc.
• Maintain accurate specification sheets (daily), confirm shipping schedules including calling customers every morning
• Complete requests for product returns, bringing these requests to the Sales or Customer Service Manager for approval
• Ensure Purchase Orders once received are properly priced and signed
• Ensure deposits and balances are collected before the product is shipped; provide a copy of the Purchase Order to the customer once complete
• Provide support to other CSR’s as needed and as business demands
• Cover reception desk / switchboard as needed
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Pollard Windows and Doors an industry leader of fenestration products is currently seeking an experienced and innovative candidate to join our Research and Development team to expand our business as Product Development and Designer at our Head Office in Burlington, Ontario.

Reporting to the Research and Development Supervisor, the Product Development and Designer will provide solutions for new product development along with the improvement of existing products. The successful candidate must possess the ability to combine technical expertise along with creativity and discipline in meeting departmental expectations.

Requirements:

Must have:

  • Mechanical / Architectural Engineering degree or diploma with design and manufacturing experience,

• Provide and maintain records of Climatic Studies,

In this job, you would work in close liaison with Customers, Sales, and Production while making site deliveries of Pollard Windows Products in an automatic transmission 24’ delivery truck. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• If the saw is computer operated, set up the computer program
• Read order forms, distinguish colour, size, and type of material required
• Once the material is cut, sort into the appropriate cubical and mark with the correct information
• Perform routine maintenance cleaning of machine and other materials as required
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance checks
• Inspect and ensure all products meet the established standards of quality
• Ensure that the supervisor is informed daily about quality, quantity, safety and any other issues that require attention

You will take measurements for job orders and install or replace windows in both residential and commercial buildings. We expect you to have a valid driver’s license and be responsible for a company service vehicle.
